On Saturday, November 23, 2002, the radio show "A Round 2 It"
presented the awards to the winners in the "First Annual Indy Essay
Contest." The ceremony was held at the Brightwood Branch Library, in
Indianapolis. Winners in grades 2 through 8 received trophies, and
all entrants received certificates, coupons from McDonald's and
writers' journals!
