Wesley Snipes alleges racism, seeks venue change

Ocala, Florida - Wesley Snipes claims a central Florida county is too racist to allow the black actor to get a fair trial on tax evasion charges.

In a motion filed in U.S. District Court, the actor's lawyer argues that prosecutors deliberately chose the Marion County seat of Ocala where Snipes has never lived. The lawyer calls it — quote — “the most racially discriminatory venue.”
