Black Women : Ultimate Chick TV Show

I loved Sex and the City, just thought it was a little unrealistic. Do you think Black people could even do a show like that without having to be so PC all the time?

It will never happen at all. The show would come under fire like janet and T. Owens have..LOL

Girlfriends is a cool show but the soulfood chicks are more real 2 me.

I saw one episode of Girlfriends the other day on BET and it was ok.
I really liked sex and the city but couldn't relate to any of those "women".lol
I love Soul Food

I like Girfriends, tho' this season they are getting a little too silly for me. I have never seen Sex and the City. I don't venture too much into that territory as I cannot relate to them. I want to start watching Soul Food just to see what the fuss is about.

definitely girlfriends, i tried to watch sex in the city but i just wasn't interesting to me, i try to watch the black shows whenever possible.

Which show do you like better, Sex in the City (when it was on) or Girlfriends? What do you think would be the ultimate Black chick TV show?

I never watched "Sex In The City" and "Friends" pretty much just irritated me.


But, "Girlfriends" I enjoyed.

What could be better than a show like it with Black women/men from different backgrounds loving, supporting, fighting, and defending each other?
