that song is me

you totally crushed my poem

Da Street So'Ja, in no way did I mean to "crush your poem". I gave you props at the end of my comment in a different font. It seems as if ym initial attack on Ja Rule provoked your anger, 1,000 pardons for that. The song DID correlate with the topic of your drop and YES, I should have commented on a more positive note. Just know that I am still a fan of your work. I just don't like the way some rappers let their (false) careers get torn up in the eyes of hip-hop's adored youth fan base. Please don't get me wrong. I like Venni, Vetti, Vicci but, c'mon Street, I know you don't bump that "Grease" song. That song you posted was one of his hot ones, true indeedy. I even liked "...Every Thug Needs A Ladyyyyy!" and Always On Time. Feel me, Street. So, props to the "meat" of your poem here and props to the "home of hip-hop" and props to peace between the GODs on the Earth.

Happily Ever After @ 212 Degrees

I know these streets well
Can’t you tell?
You think I’m up in here bluffin’?
Up in here stuntin’?
Am I gonna hafta pull somethin’?

You don’t want that and neither do i
Then 2 people die
While living the lie
I’m the type that would come to your house
Not some sissy drive by
But those were the days
Now I’m legal gettin’ paid

I’m on mission and won’t be stopped
Until I hit the top
happily ever after
The pain has turned to laughter
Dna is still black panther
Don’t ask questions
When you ain’t ready for the answer

Don’t get it twisted I’m just a man merely mortal
But I’m trying to mix water and oil
Make milk that don’t spoil
Be like batman and robin
Like Judge Mathias and Doyle
While living and dying in the melting pot
as it's brought to a boil

212 degrees
Baking biscuits on the concrete streets

Melting rubber soles on the sidewalk
In the concrete jungle also known as

New York

I say they are at least 12 million here

They say 9 million

But there are at least 3 million Mexicans they overlooked

Last time I counted lol
