piercing the inner thoughts
of my mind feelings dwell
emotions quell
sheltering themselves
like hail

huge forms of ice
that swell
clouding the memory
in how love used to be

involving pure fantasy
making love reality
with you lying next to me

here
where you need to be
close to my heart

fueling destiny
inside of me

reaching the highest
levels of intimacy

yet your not here
presently to fulfill
what is aching me

your love
