Okay, how would you demonstrate in a civil disobedient way? What would you do in this particular situation?

The question assumes that I would want to "demonstrate in a civil disobedient way." I would not. If I wished to get involved with this issue, I would choose the more traditional methods: writing to my elected representative, giving money to causes I support and participating in peaceful and lawful marches. I certainly wouldn't go shimming up a flagpole. That's just dumb.
