Storm raging
Internal billows rolls
As thunderclouds well up inside
Lightning strikes
The heart
Causing aches of pains
And
Tremors
9.0 on the Richter scale
in the brain
causing severe migraine
anger combined with
Indescribable sadness
asks the question
Why?
Looking towards the sky
Why?
Attempting to make sense of this
Why?
Hurricane winds
Blowing
As hot lava of vengeance
Boils over consuming all in its path
Confusion set in
Questioning the one in which I trusted
Feeling ashamed because I’m tempted to deny him
With every breath I take I ask
Why?
Suddenly storm clouds dissipates
And raging billows
Cease to roll
Tumultuous winds stand at ease
Peace be still cries a voice from beyond the skies
As hurricane winds die
And fiery lava flows no longer
As volcanic ash fills the air
Ashes to ashes dust to dust
Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal
Sitting down one begins to cry softly
As the words of comfort fills the empty void
Weeping may endure for a night but joy cometh in the morning
As the Son of Righteousness appears
Not to stand over me
But to comfort me as I weep in his arms
Saying
Why?
Knowing your love can give me the strength to stand
Even though I can never make sense of any of this
I know that I have to go on
Remain strong
For those that are here
Yet he let me know that
It’s ok to cry
And to ask the question
Why?
