He also says something about people who are insistent on their own view and who claim to know but don't know.

The fact of the matter is you either believe slavery is wrong for everyone and disagree with the Bible or you think slavery is an okay thing for the sake of agreeing with the Bible.

The later choice isn't the right one for anyone who wants to claim to be compassionate or decent.
