Due to the passing of the mother of two of our shrine family members, the Akom for Nana Yao scheduled for Sun ,Feb 12 has been POSTPONED UNTIL SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 26

Onipa Abusia, an Akan spiritual and cultural organization, invites you to our Akom service in honor and remembrance of Nana Yao Opare Dinizulu.
The spiritual tradition of the Akan people of Ghana, West Africa has existed in the US for over 30 years because of the efforts of Nana Yao. Because of him, the traditional worship of the Akan abosum (deities) and the nsamanfo (ancestors) continues, and traditional Akan rites such as the Edin To (naming ceremony) and Ye Goro Bra (female puberty rites) are still practiced in the US today by people of African descent.
Come and join Onipa Abusia as we conduct a special Akom in honor and celebration of Nana Yao Opare Dinizulu.

All are welcome to attend.

"We should allow no one to turn our heads. If we continually try to shape our identity in the form of others, we surely will not find our destiny. Man's destiny is the reflection of himself. We must be about the task of fortifying our ancient beliefs and traditional customs. It is only through this effort that strength is given."

- Nana Yao Opare Dinizulu

When the student is ready the "Master" will apear*

Hotep

We don't have any excuses left today...we have among us teachers and Masters who are from the same schools or initiatic systems that "All" of the prophets were tought in. They are now here and among "Us" in America. To day we do have a choice to be with G-d or stay with Evil and go the way of the evil ones. Proverb: Seek and Ye shall find*
