There are times when I feel the world is too cold,
But then there's the warmth of your heart that shelters my heart and soul.
I can stand to stare at you for every breathing moment,
And love, your love fulfills my desires gives me passion that's so potent.
Where we've been and where we're going is two very different places,
But we have to appreciate what we have, so much admiration as we look in each others' faces.
I'm calmed after many scary storms, for you're my medicine,
I dred those who've never experienced what we have, but I'll never act as if I'm better than them.
I look at their lives and see I'm a living blessing,
For they have been through some of the things I have
yet they've missed the many lessons.
You're my reward for my good deeds, and sure, there have been so many,
And you make up for the futuristics, that I know there would be plenty.
A union in the name of love, this couldn't have been a better perfection,
Because when I see you, I see myself in my heart and soul's reflection.
