A solo journey
Lacking purpose and direction
A heart turning cold
Without kindness and affection

Nothing coming in
Nothing going out
Day to day existence
That's what lonely is about

Lonely is as lonely does
The internal void
The longing for what was
Everyday tears
Just because

A condition
One would rather keep inside
But loneliness like happiness
Is something you can't hide
