Black Poetry : just letting my pen flow to upliftment

I put pen to paper because my soul is overflowing
And my thoughts toss to and fro like wind blowing
No direction or course changing at their own whim
How I wish my mind would behave proper and prim
Then I could somehow get in step with everyone else
I long to be able to waltz through life simply on impulse
But I am doomed to be conscientious and give a care
Which in this day in age seems to be just so rare
Somewhere we have the lost the consciousness of the we
And in its place we have became all absorbed in the “me”
Forgetting that we are not free to flutter our life away
I know that it’s been ingrained into you to seize the day
But you have to begin to take some regard for our plight
And stop wasting time and jump in and join the fight
For it’s in our unity that the solution shall be found
And we will finally be able to get off the ground
For no matter what the world or you think of you
I really need every last one of you to make it through
No matter who you are I can’t afford to throw you away
For you may be the spark needed to light our pathway
So my brother, my sister I beg of you to get it together
I’ve go your back even if your biological don’t bother
We are all in this together so we all are interrelated
So as you rise, I will never be the one to offer hate
But I will be standing on the sidelines uplifting you
Pushing you, hoping for you, and praying for you
For as you rise, I rise and we all rise together as one​

Through da tyme new age​

we all as one must set da stage
we not free but never cage
forget about olden day in rage
Uplifting da spirits of another
from our awareness sisters & brothers
we must fight forward to uncover
our truth and love to each other
we can leave not one behind
for so we lost on da dime
see the me and the I has to fly
so it can be a we the world now see
so i stand at da helms
pushing , guiding and love all
see uplifting is within da call
who's next don't even stall..​

The grand scheme for us all to get align

Asimplepoet...what can I say to this? As I read your words, I envisioned us grasping each others' hands no matter how much strength it took to lift the other up, no matter how hurt, tired, angry, depressed... Amazing you are in your inspiration...
