Like a thick cloud overflowing onto the earth,
The drops of moisture is cold, but warm at the same time,
Kind of a refreshing soothing feeling.
Kind of like the feeling I get when I lay next to you….
Soaked in your emotion from the night before.
Emotion that drains me from my physical stamina
To my Mental awareness.
I’m soaked.
Soaked to the point where I can’t move, but I can roll over
And where I end up is where I started ….the night before.
The day after a down pour,
a fierce intense storm, without over cast….
Unpredictable from any weather man’s forecast.
But it is what I anticipated.
Weeks, no months had gone by..when I waited.
Wanted it to be right.
You know, ….a forever thing.
Not just one night.
I wanted the storm to rain down on me for forty days and forty nights,
And now that it’s happened, we will continue to float
On our own personal love boat
To the place where everyone wants to be.
That sacred place of holy Matrimony
And you won’t have to pull my arm,
Or, tug on my tail, to ask you for your hand
I would be honored to be known as your man.
Why every brother would’nt? I’ll never understand.
Something I won’t try to explain, I’ll just continue to lay here
Soaked with your garden’s juices that flow through my soul,
Soaked with day dreams that make the clock on my wall stand still
On the hottest day in July, a simple thought of you.
Gives my spine a chill,
and as dark as I am I manage to blush
From the rush
That I feel….
From being so soaked with you.
Everlasting, is the goal that I set
From the moment our eyes first met.
And as long as I stay soaked, ….I think it’s a place
We will eventually get…….
