Black Poetry : I must have been a fool

I must be a fool
Cause all this time
I thought that your earth
Revolved around my sun
But in reality my moon
Revolved around your world

I must have been a fool
Because I thought that love
Was suppose to bring us
Closer together
But in stead you say
You fell out of love.

I must have been a fool
Cause I was under the impression
That we both
Were special people
Only to find out that
We are just ordinary people

Like John Legend said
Take it slow
Something we both
Thought we did
But in reality didn’t.

Now I sit here
Reminiscing about the days we spent
I miss your presents, your thoughts, and your spirit
You say you need time
To think things through

And to be honest I don’t mind
In fact, I even understand
But the thing that makes me sad
Is the fact that you want to be alone
And I wonder why

All I know is I love you
From the smallest fiber
Of you skin
To the in depth of your soul
I wonder, how can this be wrong[I]
