Flying with broken wings
Flying to a destination of
Comfort
Peace
Flying with broken wings is a difficult task
I ask
Could you lend me yours?
Everytime that I have gone to the edge I see rocks
Waiting for me
Tearing my flesh you see
I tried to step out on the faith, and just let the spirit sore
But myself keeps me from moving forward
I see my sisters in the sky
But neither offer me no solution
The solution is I'm all alone
I too want to go home
But I can't because
"I'm flying with broken wings
The more I stood waiting;the more I grew impatient
Time wasted
Time isn't on my side
Tick Tick Tock
The hand on the clock
Seems to keep going round and round
I made a sound
No one around to listen
Listen
Shhhhh
Do you hear that?
An Angelic voice say, "Go my child!"
I cried out, "I can't I'm not strong!"
The voice said again, "Go my child!"
I cried out, "I ca
With a thunderous tone the angelic voice said
"GO MY CHILD!"
I hesitated looking over the edge
My broken wings spread
I looked over again little rocks fallen
I heard behind me "Go"
I took a deep breathe
Spread my broken wings
Letting the wind kiss me
I lighten my grip, tense be gone
Outstretched my wings are I had fallen over
With my eyes close I took a breathe
And I felt within my broken wings moving
Soaring
Soaring
High
Still with my eyes closed
I kept soaring
Until I decided to open my eyes
To see me flying
High above almost to where my sisters' were
They amazed, and I was amazed
At my broken wings
Flying with broken wings was possible
For my heavenly Father say's
"All things are possible, and anything is possible when you're
"Flying with broken wings!"

sometime when i think i can't go another step or reach higher
my soul opens and spirit wisk in the mist of a voice sayin.......Go forth !
