Black People Politics : About 140 arrested in NC during NAACP protest

Yes Sir, America is the Fall before Rome ... For sure chuck.

If your's tends to be a faith based take, i. e., one based on your reading of scriptures, etc., then it's all a forgone conclusion, whereas opposed to those whose takes aren't, as well as probably continue to wonder why you're just asking us to wait and see?

Some folks can't and won't change on their own:

So, if you feel and think blacks etc. have regressed and retreated that much, then you're not taking into consideration what our heroes/sheroes/etc. were also up against, including Sister Tubman via her 'tough love' approach...

As one saying puts it well:

'No pain/no gain...'

Anybody truly out to transform today's black folk already knows some feelings will get hurt...

If all somebody is about is winning popularity contests, they're bound to change few minds etc.

In the Spirit of Politics,

... Exactly the kind of help Mr. Obama needs, a squeaky wheel; and more of it ...

About 140 arrested in NC during NAACP protest

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) -- About 140 people have been arrested during the latest weekly demonstration led by the North Carolina chapter of the NAACP against the state's Republican-led General Assembly.
Police estimate that roughly 1,000 people attended a rally late Monday afternoon behind the Legislative Building. Hundreds later entered the building, with those intending to get arrested wearing green wrist bands.
Those arrested were taken away in plastic bindings. They bring the total arrested in the weekly demonstrations to about 300. The rallies have taken place nearly every Monday since April.
Hundreds more waited outside to cheer on those arrested as they were transported to a detention facility.

The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People has spearheaded demonstrations to protest cuts to social programs, changes to voting laws and other issues championed by the GOP.

Peace In,

What did or does this prove?

I . e., what was the intent/purpose/etc. of this rally/protest/etc. and meant to meant to get Obama etc. to actually do?!?

It was and is the reactions to this which concerns and worries me:

Adding in recent congressional hearings on the policies and practices of federal backed policies and practices, alleging the undermining of anything that might have kept Obama from being elected to a second term, as well as unwarranted spying on U. S. citizens in pursuit of alleged terrorists in our midst, ad naseum:

Now the Obama regime has more to prove to me too...

:11900:

Obama wasn't and isn't the Second Coming etc.

Perhaps it is long overdue for you to just face up to the awfully confusing and dumbfounding human being who is today's U. S. president, not ask us to either place our blind faith in him, or just give up because he doesn't measure to your standards of being a black leader etc.

Others didn't when those folks were white too...

That included Fred Douglas and A. Phillip Randoph...

Of course we expected more from Obama:

He identifies as one of us...

He should get no 'free page' because he does...

Or taken down from the proverbial hook so easy or quickly...
