At times, it can be hard to grasp
All that has happened in your past
In thirty plus years you‘ve been on this earth

Now, at this point you feel
That you have yet to reveal
The magnitude of you’ re worth

You've pondered and contemplated
On all of the time you’ve wasted
When you think of it too hard it hurts

So, you can't look back anymore
Just forward to what's in store
All of the marvels to be unearthed

Now, upon you path to that high
Life is going to try and try
Discouraging you from being first

Some hurtful things will be blatant
Some people they will try your patients
And sometimes the timing will be the worst

Hoping, right along the same line
Some moments will be right on time…
And everything will correspond and work

When such moments come around
Let them besiege and surround
Never be scared to mingle and flirt

Keeping your head on the right way
While working hard on the entrees
Even as you enjoy, not indulge, in the desserts

Making all see and believe
Your desire to succeed
With the gifts you’ve been blessed with from birth

Pay absolutely no mind
To B. S. stories and the lies
From all of the A-holes and/or jerks

Keep fortifying your skin
For the thorns you may fall in
Becoming clever… Becoming diverse

You can be all you want to be
You will fulfill all of your dreams
Quench the longings, the yearnings, the thirsts

Because this day is truly going to come
You will in fact make it to number one
And you will finally take your place at first

This was such a positive drop. Got to keep your eye on the prize, and be ready when opportunity knocks, cause you never know when, or how, it will knock. I enjoyed this piece.
