Thanks for posting this, Dunwiddat. I remembered reading about a black man testifying that he'd seen the terrorists take Emmit Till into a barn. I'm not surprised he had to flee North afterward. Till's grandfather, who also testified, had to slip out of Mississippi in the dead of night and make his way North, as well. Stories like his, of black people of conscious doing the right thing even when their knees are knocking with fear, inspire Pro-black people to continue to soldier on.
