Are we truly kindred spirits?

Or merely alike through happenstance
I need more than compatibility
I need the compliment of souls
I need to hear the story of you

How, Why, What, Where, When and Who brought you here?


How you managed to blossom in the drudgery we call life
Man you are beautiful
Why do you use poetry to state then veil your true self?
Or am I just imagining things?
What moved you into the passionate realm in which you reside?
Can I be the essence of inspiration?
Where were you when you r true vocation found you?
Wordsmith and poet laureate
Who brought you joy versus who delivered you pain?
And it shaped you how?

And then I shall tell you

How I rode Pakeia's whale of circumstance to deliverance.
Were you too moved by the tide?
Why I manipulate verbiage to claim my poetic victories.
Sometimes failures come instead.
What motivates me to strive for excellence?
Worth more than the very air I breathe
Where I when I found my watering hole
So thankful for the nourishment and growth
Who led me here... to you
Am I being too presumptuous?

Answer me these questions
And somewhere in our quest for knowledge
Hidden under the veil of verbosity and prose
We will see the truth and if...

We are truly kindred spirits

Wow....Softly, this is a serious piece...so many questions of great depth, it actually makes me question why do I write..........so many great points....
