What if I couldnt write no more
From dialated pupils or eyes stayed close/
Writers block/mental sickness nerves stuck froze
I had a vision of poetry clubs closing all doors/
No more open mics, no more late nite hypes
No more Russell Simmons Def Jam Poetry right/
Words didnt ryhme and my scheme was shattered
Sitback laugh and cry two faces madhatter/
So what is a world without poetry
I verbal knightmare if you ask me/
I cry for help that cant past me
I spot for help with no sign for wordplay/
Cause poetry takes away my fears and puts me...
In perfect harmony

like everyone high on crystal meth..
barely trying to stay alive,
because each action triggers emotion,
each motion is a poetic explosion..
internal spontaneous combustion.
from not being able to release the poetry button,
death is the sad truth,
when a world without poetry..
becomes true.

Well I'd have to say it would be a tow up world and a world without a voice. We definitely need creativity and art or else we become plain jane and redundant. This is a good way of looking at it.
