I went into my library and found a book "W,E.B Dubois" by David Levering Lewis. basically the NAACP dropped the ball. This was a case of white hoboes complaining aganist Black hoboes on a freight train. They thought all of them were white males but two of them wearing overalls and caps were female prostitutes. The local NAACP branch had sent in a drunk lawyer and they wasted their time.
