My eyes filled up with tears
As they passed over the ruins of my childhood home
My heart felt a heavy load
And i knew at that very moment
i'd have to build another road
A road that stops the deterioration
And navigates a path that dries my tears
A road of new born preservation
That makes my heart feel jubilant and calms my fears
Daddy Hank built that house
With his own mind and hands
And the aid of my uncles
i hear him now clearly and fully
Saying, "This is my house and I'm the shack bully"
Momma Ida was always so patient with him and us
This house was her castle
She never made a big fuss
We will declare it a historical monument
We will not wrassle
With Government Bureacracies
Bypass most of the hassle
Make this dicision ourselves
Not wait or try to convince the X-Salvemasters
They have absolutely no idea of this value
And some who do, want to make sure that we don't
And that we will keep asking permission
And keep seeking assistance
For things that are in our own hands
That we can do our ownselves

RICH, Thank you...if we would effectively use the power that is now in our own hands we'd be in earthly heaven over night.....

triniti, Sister, Thanx, here's to the continued nourishment of our souls........

deepy, if we can properly focus on we, us, our...they, them and their will not be our problem anymore.......
