Senators neglect a Black’s welfare and think Blacks on welfare is more costly
And honestly, we should follow the philosophy of Bill Cosby
Not with the n-word but to educate my brothers and sisters
And you right, I agree! Why we tryin’ to cover the blisters?
Tryin’ to have social Alzheimer’s to remedy memories
Of our ancestors fallin’ victims to their city of enemies?

I thoroughly enjoyed this poem...this is why I joined this community, to read culturally conscious pieces like these. Especially enjoyed the lines above...
