Dancing on diamonds or so it would appear.
As I feel my partner draw me near.
As we spin and we twirl and we dip and we
swirl.
Lights tripped and dipped fantastic and the
floor shined not from waxing.
Not from chandaliers that have to be shined
that can be so taxing.
Your body heat sends waves of vibrations to
my toes, feeling so light I can't feel my clothes.
Sparkling, shimmering images of light, where
we danced from early evening to late night.
Disco days have gone and come.
But the Disco diamond dance floor still does
shine for some.........
And we dance until my heart was effervescent
and my soul seemed to bubble out of my pores.
For we had captured a little bit of heaven tonight
on the dance floor!
