desperation kills
the kindness that freely
connects
us to cosmic goodness
to one another
we seek God
by crawling inside ourselves
craving the
fellowship of theology
the validation of our own thoughts
justifing our haterd we shout
meaningless platitudes
in a language no one speaks
promising money
desperation conquers our soul
erasing all images of God
leaving only man
crying, hoping for mercy
from the devil
