Black Entertainment : Salt on the wound, film about maids now one about butlers???

that's not funny that is serious!!! And there could be a hundred movies made a month about just those in the pic!

Harriet was a slave, James said that that is not his history, and he don't want to see such movies.

peace!

James, these are one and the same:11100:

Tell me, what did he fail at? neither of your cosigners can say either because they didn't see the movie.

You actions is like me making negative comments about Red Tails when I haven't seen the movie.

Peace!
Fredrick Douglass was married to a white woman, something I know you are against. X was a criminal, and ran around with white women before he got right. Harriet was a slave, you said in the other thread that this was not your history, don't you remember?

peace!
context is every thing…….

context is every thing…….

I agree, James. But a slave is a slave in any context, so is a criminal. You said that this kind of history was not your history. Do you think Harriet feared yt, or stood up to him? She said yes sa, and nol sa, etc. Just like Forrest's character did. She worked in the fields, and so did he. So what is the difference?

Peace!

what i said was that i was not interested in it. try to keep it straight, please.

You know James. you are right, here are your words.

if my history consists of butlers, maids and slaves…..then i am not interested in my history

So that excludes, Harriet,(slave) Fredrick,(slave) And X, because he was a porter(butler) on a train. Funny, if you look at the life of W.E.B he had it easy. Many to day would say he's not really black because how easy he had it compared to other blacks.

Peace!
