I felt my heart flutter
My hands began to sweat
My knees shook
And I haven't even made it
to the place yet.

I hear the blood rushing as
though I was threatening
a stroke.
I mean for real , people this
is not a joke.
This brother moved me in places
I didn't know existed

And if I hadn't took this chance
I **** sure would have missed it.
So now I am stepping into his space
Gonna see him face to face
All doubt and fear I hope to erase
Cause now I am stepping into his
space.

If I had a dollar for every man who
swore he could make me holler
I could retire today and live somewhere
far away.
But, today I am rolling the dice, and not
gonna think about it twice.
The feeling I get is just to nice
So I listen to my hearts advice

Stepping into his space, and seeing him
face to face, time is erased as we gasp
and then embrace
Two months I held him at bay, thinking
he was like the others and only wanted
to play
But, the brother is solid as a rock, good
breeding, good spirit and versatile in
every way....I don't know why it took
me til today... to step into his space!
