i didn't know you were going to make it your life's work

to talk about my wife's work

howard :

i didn’t either

life’s full of quirks i guess


tutor stops reading

hands it back to Howard

tutor :

i like it this way

has she read any of these

howard :

i don’t think so

tutor :

do you think she ever will

howard :

i don’t know

later that night with her boyfriend

tutor :

he says his feelings for her are immaterial

but i don’t know

boyfriend :

has he ever met her clerk?

tutor :

i don’t think so
