R.I.P. to native american freedom fighter

I grew up from a backdrop of relatives that were involved in the AIM of the 1970's. I sprinkle Indian tobacco for this elder, who inspired a new generation of First Nation youth to rise up. I ask the Giver of Life to see this elder home. Vernon Bellecourt, WaBun-Inini, a son of the Anishinabek people of northern Minnestota. May your heart forever beat strong in the hearts of many future generations. Your presence was not in vain and your legacy of strength is just one additional link in the chain of nations.
