Speaking Words
that are neatly shined
and glossed in
meaningful beauty

This language that
is frequently used
has the
mind's eye
seizing emotions
until I'm
wrapped around
the base of his
tongue

searching to find the
hidden treasure
that lays trapped
between his mouth
and pharynx --

~ at rest ~

The pearl of a
polished mind
given life
through the larynx
expressing the
secrets of his
ocean - deep

S O U N D.

Dialect is distinct
straight from the
spirit ...

and unto him...
I dive right in
taking on the form
of christened beads
surrounding
the soul ...
from which
I cling

A pearl that is
more precious
than any
fool's gold
