i'm back jack
in the midst of my happy home
where peeps and indians play chief presiding
in their domes like dormant chromosomes

sweet Alabama

this place called home
nowhere in the world can you find southern clones
the one and only of its kind take time and recline

enjoy the kitchen cuisine sometime and dine
it's fine you'll never know might come and find the
woman of your dreams standing right in front of the door

sweet Alabama

this place called home
where people roam for days residing by bayside
trying to hide and put their worries aside

walk through our northern mountains in the
sweet time of spring will make you feel like heaven
and make you want to sing

go south toward the border of Mexico hit the casino
for some seafood gumbo-ya know
