I'm not sure where you're located, but there are shows at local colleges, in parks, and even coffee shops that are less than $15-free sometimes. If you have on demand time out on demand is a great way of being in the know as well as papers and local school websites.

Actually results of such has shown the opposite in the American public.

the more entertainment you have, the more stupid the ppl become.

to cause us to forget

how much theater, music and dance, sculpture, visual art and poetry
was an important part of African culture

and an important enrichment in the lives of all Africans 600 years ago!!! ?

If one sees theater as nothing more then "Spiderman",

then one tends to forget how plays like,

"A Day of Absence" by Douglas Turner Ward

or "Aint Supposed to Die a Natural Death" by Melvin van Peebles, or the works of Ed Bullins,

had and still have,
on raising the conscious level of the Black community,
through one of the oldest art forms
