It is great when so much propaganda is out there creating reasons for us to hate one another based on skin color, that some of us can ignore it all and hopefully find true and lasting love.....it gives me hope.

Well, Jesus did the same thing in the Bible so it's OK behavior in my book lol (he referred to the members of some races as "dogs" in Matt. 15:21-28 & Mark 7:24-30.) All White people can get dead and I would be just fine with that lol (again except for Rev. Pfleger.)

I do not get that from those scriptures, it seems to me he was addressing the woman in rhetorical manner and she understood it as such.....for which he in a sense congratulated her.

I see my brother...when he says "the children's bread" that is an obvious reference to the Children of Israel in my perspective. What do you think he means by "the children's bread?"

In a preceding verse Jesus says "Matthew 15:20 These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man." do you think he meant that literally

When I was a young Ras, the elders would sometime say to me " you are barking up the wrong tree".....believe me they were not calling me a barking dog nor did I take it that way or was offended.
Someone with little understand would misconstrue this instruction and take offense and even accuse the elder of calling him a barking dog.
Whilst in truth and fact all he was saying is you are looking in the wrong place.

Yes it is understood to be a metaphor for the Children of Israel by some, to other it could be a metaphor for Spiritual Knowledge (meant for those who eyes to see and ears to hear - and understand).. ..The woman showed no offense rather instead demonstrated her wisdom by showing she was mentally prepared to receive his wisdom and with it the gift of healing. A dog being one who is unknowledgeable in these matters.
