This thread is so typical of how racist both black and white Americans are. It started out with blacks discussing 'facts' about how inferior whites are. Then, rare for this forum, whites jumped in to discuss 'facts' about how inferior blacks are.

The comedy in all this is that few, if any, Americans are purely European or purely African. If either 'facts' were true, it would only mean that both groups --- both racist whites and racist blacks --- are inferior to those of us among the rest of humanity who have figured out that race is an illusion invented by those with power to enslave everybody (both whites and blacks) else.

I am probably rejecting the entire premise of your book, but, sorry, color [et al, race] can be ignored. As a matter of fact, anything can be ignored.

What is at issue here is whether you choose to ignore it or not.

I can confirm, from personal experience, that ignoring color [et al, race] is no more than a matter of choosing to do so. What makes it seem so difficult to Americans is the 'false equivalence' programmed into Americans [more so than any other cultural group, especially if those Americans happen to be caught up in one of the bible-is-the-Word-Of-God religions] that :

Self == Body

Race is, obviously, all about the body --- nothing about the spirit. One you get that you are not body, but spirit, the fable about mankind being races instead of one race becomes "a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing".
