Do we hope to just be liked, or risk being disliked, i. e., if and when we tell the truth TO THE MASSES about how backward are some of their personal choices, and them exibiting outright ignorance ad naseum about their health risk choices?
This isn't just about the stigma of coming out:
Is it about presuming/assuming it's a risk free one, without any consequences above and beyond that person's immediate partner...
One the downsides (pun not intended) of what is the popular misconception of personal 'freedom' in the states...
I. e., the phenomenon of some blacks being among the gblt subculture, is yet again ignorance is not 'bliss'...
Yes, some relief has come via improved drugs, but AIDS/HIV crisis continue to plague us all, and one black celeb's talk show segments hardly made the lifestyle acceptable to me!
