James if you have read through chapter 12 and 13 then you know the thing to do about the chatter is to ignore it. Maybe that is easier said than done. But then it's easier to lay in bed in the morning and just say "I need to get up" than it is to actually do it.jamesfrmphilly said:i'm having a lot of chatter and random thoughts zooming through my head.
i'm also feeling very impatient and wanting something "big" to happen. it's hard for me to settle down and relax.
I'll keep working at it but right now i'm very anxious when i do it.
Based on the book there's a lot more to this than the mantras and what not. There is the harmonizing the time and content of our diet with the cycles to strenghten the life force (see pages 200-2o1).
I think we have to read the whole book before we understand everything that needs to be done. After I finish reading it I'm going back and taking notes. I'm not looking for something "big" and quick to happen.
Haven't you read what he said about the dangers of doing this halfway or incorrectly? Insanity. Attack by evil deceased spirits and witchcraft. This I think is probably one reason westerners associate this with demons because in their left brain thinking they tried to isolate the parts that appealed to them, but the parts they rejected were the parts that would protect them and lead to true spiritual growth. Just determine in your mind that you will do what needs to be done and that you don't need everything to be quick and easy in order for you to deal with it. If it was quick and easy would it take two 400+ page volumes to explain?
Read my last post in the thread on the first chapter of the Metu Neter.
