Zimmerman is not behind bars now and if the testimony of Trayvon's friend (the prosecution's "star witness") is any indication, I'd say it's likely that the jury of women will find him not guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.

It's necessary. There is some talk of civil unrest and bounties placed on the accused, etc. Raising these issues should quell that kind of behaviour.
