as a child--five to thirteen--i was deep into drawing. i started writing poetry at eleven...and kinda lost interest. my oldest son took it up, and he's very good, still--he's thirty-six. as an artist, i'm curious about what you were trying to do with this piece. give us a snapshot of where your mind was at...and what you wanted to accomplish going into this piece.
