The "Yuppie Gentrification Squad" is already waiting with serious cash in hand but give it a shot anyway.

You know what Brother James says. Nothing Beats A Try But A Fail.

Symbol of America
I once qualified for a dollar home. In St. Louis. It wasn't that demolished. They provided a three percent loan. All mine needed was some windows replaced that were cracked, and doors that were damaged from vandals. I got my sister a three bedroom home for $1.00...and she moved in. All hers need were a few windows, some paint and a few doors replaced.

But think about it. THE LAND.

The land.. grow our own food and tear those homes down and build some small one person, two person, and four person homes. Use most of the land to grow (yummy) greens, some corn, and some other staples and live.

I turned down my dollar home from HUD.
