I've had unexpected clashes and bad misunderstandings with a few of the posters...On constantly disses me (as though we're rivals--we're not)...I. e., the one calling himself infosomething ...etc. Some times it seems and sounds like popularity contests abound...SMH

Overall I do strive to practice what I preach, i.e., respect Sister Destee's rules, and give earned props, since she created and maintains this website...A couple of posters can't or won't...That undermines what the rest of us are trying to help bring about...FYI...

I also believe there's a generation gap, and darn if I intend to just react to what other (younger) posters choose to believe about 'the meaning of the sixties'...Folks like us were i the majority...So it's not just all 'our' fault...FYI...

Also sister Cherry took offense where none was intended or meant...Not everybody is going to relate to my style, doesn't make them 'bad' people, but all I can do is ask her to accept my apology...And, no: I don't always agree with her either...FYI...

It is my understanding the 'chat' option was (once) shut down because of lil ole me? i find that difficult (if not impossible) to accept or believe...I seldom used it and only clashed with CB as though I had intruded into her private space...FYI...

Every board and it's posters are different...Slightly diferent understandings can and will help me to avoid more misunderstandings...Though it works both ways...I came here to reach/to teach/not preach...FYI...
