This was a very interesting and informative session! I'm gonna be looking at a few things with a new understanding for how it works.
I didn't understand why she shot the brother down when he said he was discourage by the information she was enlightening him with. She did say it wasn't good to look at things in a positive light. Rather to look at it for what it really is. She even got defensive over his comment. I think it was just a misunderstanding of what he was really trying to ask. I think what he wanted to know was what steps do you take to build Black politics.
Nonetheless, I really enjoyed what she had to say and learnt a few things too.
