Recession is here
The Yuletide is near
With depression on the rise
I'm having a beer and calming
Our fears with that lager on my mind

We're living in times
When fate is UNKIND
But surviving all the while

The Savior did rise to open our eyes
To the SUBSTANCE of our lives

The present God gives eternally dear
Like the sun shines through my life
I'll testify here to celebrate with
Believers of The Christ

The focus is clear and Christ will appear
Every Christmas that we share
The Spirit of LOVE complete
With the DOVE
Everyday of
Every year
