Black People : Your Last Meal ?

Peace and Blessings Family,

I was watching something, listening really, it was a documentary on some gangster that rec'd the death penalty, and they said what his last meal was.

I got to thinking ... what would i want my last meal to be, if in such a situation.

My favorite meal is steak, baked potato, and salad ... though i've not had a steak in a while (eating less meat).

I think if it were my last meal, that's what i'd want.

What would you choose as your last meal, if you knew it would be your last?

Would you even want to eat in such a situation?

hmmm,interesting,well some fried chicken,mashed potatoes,fried apples,sweet peas,biscuits,pineapple cake and i'm good to go.

First of all, knowing thats' my last meal, who would have food on their mind? ...how would they be able to keep it down? ...smh
I do believe I would use that time to meditate with my family.

I hesitated replying in this thread.

We are what we think, and in our Black Holocaust life, we should entertain uplifting Divine thoughts, that gets us out of the Prison, Death Row, mentality, that helps us not get in these situations.

I too would use this time for Fasting. What purpose is a last meal going to serve?

I am more concern about the carnal/carnivores (flesh eaters) meals we are feeding our mind-set NOW, the jealousies, envy, strife, malice, strife, confusion...and the likes of among us and in our mind-set. The poison meal we serve our mind-set that keeps us in the Mental prison we are in now.

You said "we" ... but it was "i" ... that started this thread ... so i am wondering ... are you talking to me ... indirectly?
