What is your actual heritage? do you know the actual countries where your heritage stems from?
Had a DNA test done - Mali.
Btw, Louis Gates says that 85% of African-Americans are of mixed ancestry. While I don't know what percent Malian I am, it is the ONLY percentage that matters (I say this because with black people replying.... I got injun blood! and no proof required.... I KNOW what's coming up. **sigh**).
Thanks for sharing, all things are now in full context
Timbuktu, the legendary city on the banks of the Niger River, rose up on the gold and ivory trade, and it was once the richest city in Africa. Today, an especially attractive aspect of Mali is its cultural wealth, which is perhaps most visible in the masterful artwork of its native people, the Dogon.
Geographia - An Introduction to Africa
Afrikan (Yoruba, Ndongo, Oromo, Azania), Native Am. (Muskogee Creek, Choctaw), Euro (French, Scotch Irish), Hebrew.
Ghanaian, Igbo (Nigeria), Chadic (Cameroon), and various Bantu ancestry (Gabon, Congo, Mozambique). I'm sure there's Senegambian in there somewhere but the others I actually have found DNA cousins for this ancestry or it was pre-known.
What DNA test did you have done? I've wanted to get one done, but there's so many out there
No...And I gave up my research...it's frivolous to me.
It wouldn't really explain anything that I feel would be beneficial to me.
Because the whole human race is crap.
If I was God...I'd flood the Earth again and start all over again.
So much for the idea that God is perfect, eh?
Ooohh my goodness you almost got.....no you didn't
....so your comment is exempt.
I've forgotten. Had it done about 5 years ago.
