Your child (son or daughter) comes to you and says, "Daddy/Mama, I want to be President of the United States," what would be the first thought that crossed your mind?

If very young, I'd probably give a short reply on other ways to helping people, with a thought of, they're too young to understand how things really work.
If older, I might be a bit more blunt in telling them, there are far better choices, with a thought of not wanting my child to be the center of all that.
I'd be happy. I'd ask why.
I wouldn't speak negatively about it. If that's the goal ...if its achevable... and the person has the necessary grooming and capacity to handle the job...its not for me to pooh on that.
