Peace fam. Nothing special flow-wise here, just needed to jot something down as I am being harassed by the caucasians. It got to me for a minute, and I felt down.

It's hard to be a young (21), concerned and critical. Especially when you're a young black youth. Breaking the mold every day with every thought.

But I can't stop or be deterred. A luta continua!

    ---

    I'm living the struggle
With all my muscles and bones.
    Some days I just feel
That I want to go home.

I know most of them wish for that,
And that's the logic they use.
"If it's bad here pack and leave"
But I have to pay some dues.

Charity starts at home Asante told me,
    And that's what I'm doin.
I'm not a youth interested in
Who said what and what woman you screwin'.

    I'm about liberation and justice,
    Akbar, Wilson, Toussaint and Imhotep.
And I'm spreading the Afrikan Gospel
For those who don't know yet.

See I only spoke my mind,
But it was too heavy for the caveman.
    Hide behind your intellectual rhetoric,
But all you think is I'm a slave-man.

    Instead of applauding this youngster,
You want my intellect to wither.
It's not black only - it's black FIRST!
Is that what makes you shiver?

Trying to kill my will to live,
Chastise me and disrupt my spirit.
The only reason you harass me
Is 'cuz of my righteousness; you can feel it.

    So step back, sit down
    And shut your trap.
    I expose your fear
In the form of the Fearless Black.

White men down, Black Kings Up!
Queen Sisters rise, White Vixens fall!
Imprison our leaders and punish our youth,
But when we say "reparations" ya'll quick to stall.

    I'm young, Afrikan and intelligent.
What makes you want to quell my growth?
In their truest form I represent peace and respect,
But you want to kill both.

    I sometimes have to rhyme
    Simple words like this.
    To remind my self that
Perseverance will deliver me true justice.

    My resolve wavers
    And I sometimes doubt....
    But this fight for freedom
    I can never go without.

Keep on and stay strong. You probably have them intimidated by your will and intellect. We know that you'll keep rising to the top young brother. Great to "see" you again.

    Flow on Brother!
    This was Another Flow.
This Truth Flows In so many places and in so many ways.
Even though this is upsetting( and I know that it is) It can never be stressed and stated enough
so I thank you for Bringing Realization once again Brother.
Thank you for being strong in the Tough Winds.
    Peace
