Sometimes it's semantics
Sometimes one word, changes everything
The man in my dreams, the man of my dreams....
Untouchable images, or a real life King

The man in my dreams...
I never know when he'll visit me
But when he does, he's right on time
Making my spirit soar in a technicolor fantasy

The man of my dreams
Tells me when he'll be there
Then like clockwork he is
Assuring me with his warmth and care

The man in my dreams
Our meetings are...perfection
He caresses and confesses amour
Solidifying our surreal connection

The man of my dreams, he's not perfect
And certainly, neither am I.
But as I try to calculate all that I love about him,
infinity times itself equals those reasons why...

That man in my dreams
Gee, I'm not sure if we've ever actually met
Or ever will...Yet his touch leaves such an imprint
such an impression, that I sometimes forget
He's not real

But perhaps....
That man in my dreams
is a delectable appetizer, a foreshadowing of the
imperfectly perfect man of my dreams, or so it seems

The man in my dreams, the man of my dreams...
In a universe filled with beautiful Black kings
I feel, it's indeed possible to have both :)

Yes, it most certainly is possible to have them both, or for that matter, the both being the "One" person. I love this line: "The man in my dreams, The man of my dreams" ...kinda reminds me of the old song:Two Lover's ..when both of them were "He" :10900:
I can remember well dealing with the "Of and In" of a man.
Awesome write sis!!
