American Economy, we really need to talk
Because this **** just isn’t working out
I used to be so in love with your land of the free
A misconception that intrigued me as you pleaded equality
But I guess I was just infatuated with your nice looks
They said just give you time to grow out of this global immaturity
But I’ve given your love way too many chances
Demanded better treatment with constitutional advice
So while I waited on the progress that you promised me,
I only witnessed the envy and competition you stored in your eyes
Remember when you lied and said you’d keep me secure
Well I remember when you’d leave me
For man-made policies that teaches money can save your soul
I’m leaving you because of your selfishness
You promised that our children wouldn’t get left behind
But all you did was constantly desert us
So where’s the surplus in that?
I thought this was a relationship
Not a crooked ownership
Where I’m covered in your dirty fingerprints of
Income, wages, taxes, and profits
American debt, keeps my face wet in tears and broken ambitions
But you said you’d protect me
Racially motivated, and politically orchestrated
I don’t want your **** American dream anymore
If all it involves is leaving people out
And I hate this taste in my mouth
Left from your kisses of capitalism
***** your father big business
And I never liked your mother’s monopoly
I could smell the infidelity of old rich white men
Handling your sweet stocks with their long corporate ladders
While people in my community struggled to feed their children
I remember when you told me education was a priority
But that diplomatic bull**** was just another lie
Because teachers are harder to find in these times
Since you don’t want to pay them for feeding our future
I looked at you differently
When you claimed poverty was just a part of nature
Embraced in your arms of an inverse compatibility
Where as you increase, I decrease
Or as you decrease, my lifeline still goes down
I found where you left your conscience
It’s in the audience of poor families
In the tears of many who spend years trying to make ends meet
Raped by national banks, courts and prison systems
I even failed in the source of my religion
You had me praying to dead presidents
Instead of to the savior who died for me but
Why can’t our relationship be like it used to be
You know, before 9/11, when Clinton was president and
When unemployment wasn’t a big problem and
When gas was just a dollar and some change
Oh, I remember those days
We weren’t the best couple, but we were okay
So you can keep your star bucks, Wal-Marts, and subways
But I want all my **** back
I want all of my receipts for wasted time
Subtract every tax and pay me back with interest
I want all of the sweat
That I poured for working two sorry *** jobs
Where I still got paid that joke called minimum wage
I want all of the tears my mother spilled for you
And the payment for life where young black men killed for you
I also want all of the blood my ancestors lost for building you
Working fields and houses just to maintain in you
As their own people were sold and slain in you
American Economy, you and me are over
Because now I understand
That no matter how much I supply and you demand
This relationship just isn’t healthy
Because you made me pay for a freedom
That you promised me was free
So I don’t trust you anymore
And you should know that in any relationship
Trust is everything

without a doubt i can relate for this american concept is laid false
what seem free is where we paid the cost
to the society massa known as da boss
i know what you mean here big time fo real u said it all here ...
