Half her life in a prison
Caged in a world not her own
In her past life she was a queen
    Draped in silks and linen
    In this life, its weary
    feels more like...
    'exhausted mother'
    'broken daughter'
    'shunned sister'

Heavy back laden with the world's burdens
Daily her pulsating beauty of a heart bleeds
for the heartache, ignorance and its needs

Admired from a far by most cultures
    Praised even in some nations
And she takes well to that praise
Never shows the pain she feels
But walks on high like the queen she is

She has fed the earth's children
Put up with this world's men
    Carried
    Nurtured
    Raised
    Loved
    ALL of humanity

Nobody knows what she goes through
    Only the Creator
    She is taken for granted
    Only missed when she's departed

    Thank her now
    for tomorrow
    might just be too late!

    Shalom
