Over 60% of the Africans enslaved in America in the 1800s came from the Yoruba Kingdoms and from Dahomey the younger Kingdom of Benin that pays homage to the holy Oba of Ife, His Imperial Majesty
Alayeluwa Oba Okunade Sijuwade.

Over 60%?

Sources please.

I though it was common knowledge so I was quoting it as a reminder of fact but I will provide a source for you.
No. It's not common knowledge. It's a matter of debate. For example, there are some who state that about 70% who were brought to Virginia were Igbo. Some state the majority of earlier Afrikans came from Kongo. And The Oyo empire and Fon were notorious slave raiders and traders. Therefore, it's not accurate to state the majority of Afrikans who were slaves were Yoruba.

They were most likely captured and sold by the Yoruba and Fon.
